More 3,862 people got infected with COVID-19 and 53 more died of the highly infectious disease in last 24 hours until 8:00am Tuesday.

The country’s confirmed cases now stand at 94,481‬ while the death toll hits 1,262.
Additional director general of the Directorate General of Health Services Nasima Sultana disclosed the information on the regular online briefing on COVID-19 situation.

Some 2,237 people were declared recovered from the novel coronavirus infection, taking the total number to 36,264.
