The Coronavac vaccine developed by the Beijing-based biotech company Sinovac showed no side effects in the body of 90 percent people.

The trial was conducted 14 days apart, according to a press release on Sunday (June 14). The vaccine effectively produced effective antibodies in the body within two weeks.

Earlier in an interview with the media on May 29, the scientists said that the coronavac vaccine is 99 percent effective in fighting corona.

The Chinese company Sinovac said its laboratory developed coronavac vaccine is capable of fighting corona. Now they are just waiting for the mass production clearance. The company said it is ready to produce 100 million doses a year to prevent corona. The vaccine has also been shown to have promising results in monkeys. The company is preparing for mass production of the experimental vaccine to prevent coronavirus just waiting for approval.

The scientists got this result on the basis of two trials in the first and second phase. In the second trial, a total of 743 healthy people between the ages of 18 and 59 were given shots on two schedules or a placebo. More data will be released from the trial of another group that received the shot at 28-day intervals. A spokesman of the company said Sinovac plans to publish the results of the trials in an academic journal.

Sinovac has experience developing drugs against the virus worldwide. Sinovac Biotech was the first pharmaceutical company to market the Swine flu vaccine in 2009.
