Bangladesh Railway has decided to start operating all commuter, mail, express and local trains in all routes across the country by September 16.
The services will be resumed in three phases, according to a press release signed by Md Khairul Kabir, deputy director of Railways (Traffic Transportation).

In order to ensure social distancing, 50 percent tickets of the coach's capacity can be sold, according to the press release.
Besides, the train has to run in accordance with the instructions issued by Directorate General of Health Services.
Earlier, Bangladesh Railway resumed its operation partly on May 31 after being suspended for two month in order to contain the spread of Covid-19.
