Confirming the matter, Abdullah’s assistant personal secretary Sheikh Nazmul Haq Saikat said that the state minister died at about 11:45pm from a cardiac arrest.
The technocrat state-minister Abdullah was admitted to the hospital with some health complications including high diabetic about 10:30pm.
State minister for shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury said that the hospital authorities had collected the sample for Abdullah’s COVID-19 test and the report of the test would be available by 11:00am today (Sunday).
