Coronavirus: Global death toll rises to 552,112

The global death toll from coronavirus reached 552,112 at 10:40 am till Thursday (Bangladesh Time), according to latest data from worldometer.

So far, 1,21,70,408 people have tested positive for coronavirus while 70,69,188 patients have made full recovery across the world, the source said.
Besides, the active cases are 45,49,108 worldwide till date.

With the fresh tally around 24 hours, 5,483 people died across the world while 220,021 people have been detected with the novel coronavirus, and 173,642 have made full recovery worldwide till date.

Among the coronavirus affected countries, the US death toll has gone up to 134,862, followed by Brazil with 68,055, UK 44,517, Italy 34,914, France 29,965, Spain 28,396, Mexico 32,796, India 21,144, Iran 12,084, Canada 8,737, China 4,634, Bangladesh 2,197, Saudi Arabia 2,059 and Australia 106 respectively, according to worldometer.
