The meeting between Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus and diplomats from European countries is underway.
The meeting began at around noon on Monday at the office of the Chief Advisor. The 27-country delegation is led by Michael Miller, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Bangladesh.
Earlier, on Thursday (December 5), Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Rafiqul Islam said in a briefing that on December 9, in addition to the 27 countries of the European Union, a meeting of Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus will be held with the ambassadors of one more country.
He also said that the issue of trade and services will be important in the meeting. In addition, addressing the challenges of climate change and the Rohingya issue will be given priority. In addition, there will be an open discussion on the relations between Bangladesh and the United Kingdom.
