Syeda Rizwana Hasan, adviser for the environment ministry in the interim government, has announced that the government has decided to lower Hajj package prices for Bangladeshi pilgrims who intend to perform the Hajj in Saudi Arabia in the future.

The decision came during an advisory council meeting on Thursday chaired by Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus at his official residence, State Guest House Jamuna.

After the meeting, Rizwana spoke to the media in front of Jamuna and revealed the outcomes of the meeting.

“We assessed that the Hajj package prices are very high in Bangladesh, and we will make this cost lower,” said Rizwana.
