A murder case has been filed over the death of Md. Abdur Rahim, a former Deputy Assistant Director (DAD) of the Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) and a veteran freedom fighter, who died in prison.
Abdur Rahim was an accused in the case related to the 2009 revolt at the BDR headquarters in Pilkhana.
Advocate Abdul Aziz, son of deceased Abdur Rahim, filed this case in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Akhtaruzzaman.
The case has been filed against 11 people including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former BGB Director General, former Army Chief Brigadier General Aziz Ahmed, and Pilkhana Mutiny case lawyer Mosharraf Hossain Kajol.
