Bangladesh Army has donated money, equivalent to one day's salary of its all members, to the Chief Adviser's Relief Fund aiming to help flood victims across Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Army, through its verified Facebook page, said the money had been donated to help the victims of the ongoing flash flood that has ravaged Feni, Chittagong, Comilla, Noakhali, Sunamganj, and Habiganj districts.
Different units of the Bangladesh Army are conducting rescue operations in flood-hit areas, distributing food and essentials, and airlifting people stranded in places hard to reach by any other means.
Army medical teams also provide treatment to flood victims in many areas.
