Mobile phone operator Grameenphone has increased the minimum recharge limit for prepaid customers.
The customers will be able to recharge a minimum of Tk30 from Wednesday.
The operator informed its customers about the information through SMS. Prepaid customers can also see this warning notice on their MyGP app.
In an SMS sent to customers, Grameenphone said: "Dear customer, from 10 January, the minimum recharge amount will be Tk30. However, recharge offers below Tk30 and scratch cards can be used as before.”
Grameenphone customers can currently recharge a minimum of Tk20. Earlier, a minimum of Tk10 taka could be recharged.
