A passenger train collided with a goods train from behind on Monday afternoon at Bhairab upazila in Kishoreganj.
There are fears that several people may have been injured in the accident.
Witnesses said many people were trapped under the train. Many of the injured are lying under the damaged coaches.
Upon receiving the news, the fire services personnel reached the spot and started a rescue operation.
