All the finance ministers have presented the national budget

For the fourth time in a row, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal will present the budget in Parliament at 3 pm today. A budget of Tk. M. Saifur Rahman 5 times from 1980-81 and 1981-82 and 1991-92, 1992-93, 1993-94, 1994-95, 1995-96 and 2002-03, 2003-04, 2004-05, 2005-06, 2006 -06 presented the budget for the financial year. Besides, M Sayeduzzaman 1974-75, 1985-8, 1986 and 1986, Major General MA Munim 1987-98 and 1990-91, Dr. Wahidul Haque 1989-90, Shah AMS Kibria 1997-98, 1996-97, 1998-99, 1999-2000, 2000-01 and 2001-02 and Dr. AB Mirza said. Azizul Islam announced the budget for the financial years 2007-08 and 2008-09. Abul Maal Abdul Muhith presented the budget 10 times in a row from FY 2009-10 to FY 2018-19. Earlier, he had presented the budget for two fiscal years, 1972-73 and 1983-84. Incumbent Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal presented the first budget for the fiscal year 2019-20. He then announced the budgets for the fiscal years 2020-21 and 2021-22. The budget for the next financial year will be the fourth budget given by him. The Finance Minister has prepared the budget for the fiscal year 2022-23 by giving priority to the marginalized people of the country. This year's budget, entitled "Returning to the Continuity of Development Beyond the Impact of Covid", is a combination of the government's past achievements and the current situation that has arisen. The 51st budget of the country and the 23rd budget of the Awami League government have given due importance to inflation control, agriculture, health, human resources, employment and education.
