The number of casualties could increase further
At least 18 people have been killed and over 450 injured in a fire caused by an explosion at a private Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Sitakunda upazila in Chittagong.
The fire broke out at BM Container Depot in Kadamrasul area of the upazila on Saturday night.

Istakul Islam, chief of Health & Service Department at Red Crescent Youth Chittagong, confirmed the deaths to Dhaka Tribune.
“Over 450 people have been injured in this incident of which, at least 350 are at CMCH.
The death toll could be more at other hospitals.”
