Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said, Southeastern European country Romania has shown interest to recruit a total of 40,000 workers from Bangladesh. The minister said this while talking to reporters at his residence on Thursday (October 14).
He said, discussion also took place to arrange scholarships for hundreds of Bangladeshi students in the country.
AK Abdul Momen said, there is no Romanian mission in Bangladesh that’s a problem. We have requested the authority to open a mission there. A total of 860 Bangladeshis were sent back for their illegal stay, the minister added.
