Mother Hilsa conservation campaign done successfully

The Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock has implemented a comprehensive program to make successful the mother Hilsa conservation campaign from October 14 to November 4 this year.   

The fisheries and livestock ministry in a press release informed that a total of 2,640 mobile courts and some 19,818 drives have been conducted in eight divisions of the country.
Following the direction of Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim and supervision of the secretary concerned Rawnak Mahmud, the officers working in division, district and upazila level under the directorate of fisheries and livestock along with district and upazila executive magistrates, police, Naval police, Coast guard, Air Force, Navy, RAB, BGB and other voluntary organisations and individuals played direct role in implementing the programme.
