Actors Pran Roy, Zinat Sanu Swagata and Mounita Khan Ishana will be seen sharing the screen together in an upcoming drama series titled ‘Chirokumari Songho’. The series is being jointly directed by Bhuvan and Refat with the story written by Proshno Khan. This will be the director duo’s first collaboration for the television.
According to DhakaLive, an online video streaming platform, the shooting of the first lot of the drama has been concluded recently in various locations of Pubail.
As per the story of the drama, a group of women from the same village come together and decide on never getting married.
Following this, they form an all women organization titled Chirokumari Songho consisting of women who do not want to get married for the rest of their life despite many men wanting to be in a relationship with them in the locality. Amid such a situation, the story moves on.
About the drama’s concept, Pran Roy stated, “With such a unique concept, the story of the drama moves forward. I portray the role of a mad-man who roams and gets involved in crazy activities. The cast members of the drama know each other well. The work went well for each other’s cordial participation. I hope the audience will like it.”
Reflecting on the drama’s plot, Swagata said, “I really liked the drama’s story, which encouraged me to work enthusiastically. The series’ story and direction have something new in it. I am optimistic about the series”.
‘Chirokumari Songho’ will soon be aired on a satellite TV channel.
