Derailment halts Sylhet's rail ser. with other parts

Sylhet's rail communication with other parts suspended following derailment of a freight train in Bhatera under Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar on Tuesday morning.

A bogie of a oil-laden train no 952 veered off the track at Maijgaon Rail Station area at 8:30am, snapping the rail communication with the whole country.

A relief train has been sent to the spot, said Sylhet Rail Station manager Khalilur Rahman.
